What is this, what are we?
We’ve got innocent people dying, degenerates who can't provide, drug addicts who need a fix every second of the day, cruel people who think they got it all, but can't name a single Province in Canada.
Sit back, let me influence you for a second.
Heartless people, cheating, lying to the ones they love, leaving them, drugs are the only thing they care about, you see.
People getting brainwashed just like that, saying the ideal look is perfect skin, flat stomach, wearing almost nothing.
But what is appearance when you aren't smart, only known for looks and not known for anything valuable.
Dropping out of school, with no care in the world.
This is a lie we call Earth.
What is Earth with everyone faking, not being real, and hiding behind plastic surgery, small outfits and not being honest with everyone. Screw reality.
Our mind is being played with like a children's toy.
Sucking us into things that don't matter.
Sex, drugs, alcohol, you name it, and it gets you butterflies in your stomach.
I thought butterflies were what you get from a roller-coaster loop.
But for you that's your swirl of substances and the aftermath.
But you don't care, you keep going.
All I got is this song and the worst part is you'll listen to it and not be influenced.
Hell, you're probably thinking about what tonight's gonna be while I'm rapping to you.
By the time you've got nothing left, and you've decayed, you're a mess, maybe you'll decide it's finally time to listen to me.
But hold up, it's gonna be too late.
So drop this act, be smart before you won't be at all.
What are your goals may I ask?
Probably getting something good to smoke, something cold to drink on a Friday night.
You don't even have skills.
You don't read, draw, sing or dance.
A waste of a life.
You sit in your room all day blazing it.
Taking videos for your friends to see.
You really think you're on top?
You can't commit to that, or a job.
Do you understand?
You're taking the easy way now, which makes it a lot harder for you in the future.
I'm just trying to make this a better place especially when I'm at McDonald's and I'm being served by an old person.
That's you later because you didn't finish school.
You're interests include dancin' half naked, fat clouds, taking as many shots as you can before you throw up.
What do you see yourself for?
Who do you speak for?
Drop this act, before you really do ruin things for yourself and become more of a useless human being.
Now I may not be book smart, but I sure as hell didn't throw it all away so I could feel good with my friends everyday, and yell at my parents.
They created you and they love you, they just don't want to see you turn into a mess because they've probably seen it all.
Wait until the snake bites you.
Now you get it.
You shouldn't have done it in the first place.
You used to be on the honour roll.
But you gave it all away.
From the people you call your friends.
They're only there for the times you call “good times”.
They aren't your friends.
If they cared about you they wouldn't turn you into what you are now.
They're the ones you smoke with, drink with.
You think that's all life really is?
If so, then get in the classroom, hit the books because trust me you're gonna need it after last weekend with you and your crew.
Look at you, thinking you’re cool all dressed up in your tan pants with the bands on the bottom that all the boys are wearing with a gold chain huh?
Enjoy wearing that before it becomes rags.
You only care about yourself.
Drugs are not your friend, listen.
I really hate to break it to you but you're just being sucked in.
Life is a lie, drugs are your Holy Grail.
Do you understand?
You get hooked and you're done.
You're broke from spending every dollar you get on something to smoke.
Wanna go for a bike ride? No, sorry I'm busy killing my brain cells you say.
You're losing the ones you love, or used to love.
All for a big lie, you're being played with.
You need to be saving every dollar you get for rent in the future because that job at McDonald's isn't going to cut it.
You're done and you've lost it all.
You have nothing left of yourself.
And it was all for nothing.
